For the first time, a Social Life Cycle Assessment (S-LCA) study investigated the potential social impacts associated with the production of polyolefins derived from the chemical recycling of mixed plastic waste streams, furthermore, a comparison with virgin material was carried out, contributing to research on the social sustainability of innovative recycling processes.
