Life Cycle Assessment

LIFE CYCLE ASSESSMENT (LCA)

“Compilation and evaluation of the inputs, outputs and the potential environmental impacts of a product system throughout its life cycle”. ISO 14040:2006

  1. Process split into life cycle stages and LCA phases
  2. Stages are portions of the product life cycle and phases are the portions of the LCA process
  3. Data collected on inputs and outputs of the system
  4. Associated environmental and resource impacts of those inputs and outputs

The methodology models the complex interaction between a product and the environment from cradle to grave.

According to the ISO 14040:2006 and 14044:2006 standards, a Life Cycle Assessment is carried out in four distinct phases:

  1. Goal and Scope
  2. Inventory Analysis
  3. Impact Assessment
  4. Interpretation

Circular Srl supports you in the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of your products, processes, and services, quantifying environmental impacts across all life cycle stages, from raw material extraction to production, distribution, use, and end-of-life.

The assessments are carried out in accordance with ISO 14040 and ISO 14044 and can provide the basis for Product Carbon Footprint, EPD, DNSH, CAM, environmental communication, and sustainability strategies.
