On the occasion of the EU Sustainable Energy Week 2025 (EUSEW) – the leading European platform dedicated to innovation and collaboration for a sustainable energy future – Circular Srl participated in the Energy Fair to represent the European project CONFESS – Certification of Clean Energy SMEs, together with the project coordinator, the Institute of Sustainability in Civil Engineering (INaB) – RWTH Aachen University, and the partners Climate & Company and the International Sustainable Finance Centre (ISFC). The CONFESS project, which also includes the participation of the Czech Technical University in Prague (CVUT), aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises in their path toward sustainability by facilitating the understanding and application of the EU Taxonomy through concrete and accessible tools. During the event, hosted at the Charlemagne building in Brussels, the CleanLeap digital platform developed within the project was presented. CleanLeap is designed to make reporting under the EU Taxonomy simpler and more transparent by offering:
- Simplified criteria for voluntary sustainability reporting
- An intuitive digital tool to facilitate data access and the communication of environmental impacts
- A practical approach to help SMEs overcome regulatory barriers and gain easier access to sustainable finance.
The interest shown by visitors confirmed the strong demand for practical and user-friendly solutions that can truly support businesses on their path to ecological transition. The exchange with the public highlighted how the combination of digital tools and scientific expertise is essential to foster real and lasting change. Circular Srl wishes to thank everyone who visited the stand, shared experiences, and offered valuable insights. The energy and enthusiasm gathered during the event reinforce our commitment to contributing to a more sustainable and inclusive future for all European businesses.
